ABN is a world-renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the achievement gap in education. They have developed several innovative programs that allow children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to gain access to quality education and resources. They offer students a more tailored learning experience by allowing them to take quizzes and receive instant feedback on their skills. They also help students gain skills they would otherwise not have access to, such as excellent listening and communication skills. In addition, ABRDN helps children be better prepared for college by offering tutoring services. All the programs offered by ABRDN are free of charge. This coming-of-age experience allows children to learn about themselves through role play and discussion.
- Achievement
ABRDN provides a chance for children to gain skills in areas they may struggle in. These students feel more confident about themselves and their abilities. Their pride and confidence increase when they see their test scores increase, encouraging them to keep learning and practicing new skills. They have significantly improved their performance at school and in the classroom. ABRDN developed a series of enrichment programs designed to enhance the curriculum and promote academic achievement to support children who are behind in school. They have also incorporated success in education into their Character Development Program (CDP).
- Confidence
ABRDN helps children to build skills and become more self-confident. These children have a better view of their future, knowing they can achieve their goals. ABDRN significantly impacts raising the level of confidence that students display in the classroom. When children take quizzes and get immediate feedback, they learn to adjust their thinking. This leads the students to believe in themselves and become more confident. They also enable them to see that they have abilities outside of academics, which provides them with a much greater sense of value. Students without confidence often do not believe in their abilities.
- Higher Education
Through ABRDN’s tutoring services, students can receive extra help with their core subjects – English, Math, and Science. They learn to succeed in college and apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to their future career goals. Because of this, children now know that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to do. They help students achieve better grades and prepare for college. Many students don’t have the resources to attend college, but ABRDN helps them realize their goals by providing them with the resources they need to succeed.
The impact of the ABRDN programs is remarkable. The CDP enables children to learn about themselves and become better people. The Achievement Program helps children improve their skills and better understand what they can accomplish. The Middle School Pathways Program allows elementary school-aged students to prepare for college admission and success in future education plans. It has widened its scope of programs as it’s received funding from all different organizations, bringing new resources that help children from all over the world see their possibilities open to them.
