AIS Healthcare Advanced Pharmacy
AIS Healthcare Advanced Pharmacy
AIS Healthcare (Advanced Infusion Solutions) was founded by Charles.R. Bell, its president. It is the leading provider of targeted drug delivery (TDD) and infusion care. It has highly skilled nursing staff who provide specific services to their patients, such as home Ig therapy, TDD pump refills, and maintenance. It is governed by Samuel Castellanos, the CEO, and Pam Carter, Chief Nursing Officer, to name a few.
The use of pumps is effective and safe. This is because patients won’t buy over-the-counter painkillers, the patient can’t misuse the painkillers, and the medicated pump goes directly to the nervous system. Furthermore, the pump medication is highly concentrated; reaches the targeted area accurately, and its effectiveness doesn’t wear off.
Targeted drug delivery therapy is better for pain management for people who take long-term painkillers: it helps patients with chronic pain and spasticity. AIS Healthcare offers 24/7 support to its patients, which reduces trips to clinics and physician offices and is cost-effective. Moreover, the patients are taken care of for longer hours.
AIS Healthcare has received URAC accreditation, effective up to November 1st, 2025, and Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for specialty pharmacy. The accreditation; proves that AIS gives quality services, it is improving as its quality continues, and it’s a validation of what they do every day in terms of advancing, according to its Chief Operations Officer, Michelle Wiest.
It provides TDD services to its patients in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Dallas, and Texas pharmacies. Its locations in Valdosta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Clinton, Mississippi; Panama City, Florida; Dallas, and Texas provide Advanced Infusion Care and have received URAC accreditation.
The pharmacy in Valdosta, Georgia, is newly designed. It is the largest AIS pharmacy; it can service patients across the United States and has 40 licensed specialists that serve 1,400 patients. Jud Hall, the president of Advanced Infusion Care (AIC), said that the pharmacy would enhance the growth, expansion into new markets, and sustainability of AIS. The pharmacy will also boost staff efficiency and production.
