Award Winning Executive Producter Randy Douthit achievements
Randy Douthit has definitely learned a thing or two over his time working in the background around Judge Judy. Judge Judy is an iconic TV judge who had dished out common sense and justice for decades. Randy Douthit began working on the show when it debuted in September of 1996 and he held the role of executive producer. As time has changed, so has television and recently Randy took on the role of executive producer and director of a new series featuring Judge Judy. This time the show will be called Judy Justice. Working with networks and creating shows that would draw people in is nothing new to Randy. In addition to his time on the set of Judge Judy, he also spent over a decade working with CNN in hopes to turn failing shows around. Randy was so successful at CNN that he ultimately executive produced and directed the Capital Gang, Crossifre and Larry King Live. He had gotten his start in television early on and was given the opportunity to turn around a failing news show called Seattle Today. Over a short period of time he was able to turn it around and turn it into a successful news show. In addition to these notable shows, Douthit also an active member of the team that produced The Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire, which was a extremely popular 1990’s comedic show that launched famous actor Will Smith into the limelight.
