Empowering Space Development

A time of unprecedented transformation in the computing landscape has brought to life a new frontier – the Cloud, as TomKeane explains. Last year, Microsoft unveiled the Azure Computer Services Platform, which offers massive scalability and capability in the Cloud. Having seen businesses’ blazing development and utilization of technologies over time, Tom Keane informs, Microsoft is now accelerating its progress on one of the most critical space technologies- satellite communications.

The idea behind developing this technology is to provide much higher bandwidths and reliability for organizations using the Cloud to experience the benefits. Compared to the evolution of computing since its inception, we’re witnessing a rate of change that is unprecedented. The digital era has caused an exponential increase in complexity and volume. Tom Keane has led technical teams and software development in platforms that ran millions of customer websites and applications, including MSNBC, Expedia, T-Mobile, and MTV.
