Doug Haynes Career

Doug HaynesDouglas Haynes, President of The Council, advises top executives of private and public enterprises. He joined the Council in March 2018. He leads the Council’s strategy and execution of its portfolio of programs to that end. Doug is also a writer and speaker who regularly shares his insights and experiences in the business world. In addition to managing The Council’s program portfolio, he also coordinates a team of consultants who work with private sector executives to develop their strategies, set goals and objectives, and define the risks and opportunities within their organizations. A recognized authority in the private sector and entrepreneurship, Doug has held various executive-level positions in the financial services, manufacturing, and technology industries.

Doug started his career in the financial industry and quickly gained experience working with various clients. After leaving the financial industry, Doug worked for several companies in different executive-level positions. Doug started his career at Merrill Lynch and then moved to JPMorgan Chase. At JPMorgan Chase, Doug was responsible for chairing the global risk management desk and leading counsel for the international investment banking group. Doug has worked as an engineer for GE’s Plastics Business Group. He was also a software developer for the US Central Intelligence Agency.

Doug has over 18 years of experience in the private sector, most recently working as an executive in the financial industry. He understands how businesses operate and how they succeed or fail. Due to his knowledge, Haynes is an essential part of The Council’s team.

Doug is passionate about managing change and helping businesses succeed. His experience in the financial industry and his interest in assisting businesses have developed a strong understanding of how companies operate and grow. This knowledge has helped him develop strategies for The Council, which are essential to the success of our clients.

Doug Haynes has made a great effort fighting against poverty, supporting education, and veterans’ support. He is a board member of the Cohen Veterans’ Network, Cohen Veteran’s Bioscience, and The Center for Global Enterprise. He is an advisor to ChainIQ and Vega Factor.
