From HealthApp to FestiHealth: The Entrepreneurial Journey of Ron Gutman

Ron Gutman, the Co-CEO of Intrivo, is a man of many hats. He is an inventor, a serial entrepreneur, and an investor, as well as an educator and a writer. His entrepreneurial journey has been marked by his passion for promoting positivity, health, and well-being. One of Gutman’s most notable achievements was his founding and CEO-ship of HealthApp. There, he invented and led the development of multiple innovative health technologies, including Dr. A.I., HealthApp SOS, AppRx, and more.

 And in 2020, amidst the COVID-19 crisis, he founded FestiHealth, the first interactive platform for curating inspiring and knowledgeable speakers, live wellness activities, and a virtual expo of cutting-edge health-tech solutions. Ron Gutman is not just an entrepreneur, but also an angel investor and advisor to various health and technology companies, including Rock Health, Harvard Medical School’s SMArt Initiative, KPMG, and more. 

He is a recognized thought leader in technology, health innovation, and business, and frequently speaks at conferences and academic institutions. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, business and healthcare expert Ron Gutman is also a scholar and advocate of positivity and smiling.

 He wrote and presented a popular TED book and talk on the Impact of Smiling that was translated into 53 languages and viewed by millions worldwide. He also co-authored a leadership framework, Sapient Leadership, to help leaders navigate the new reality of exponential, perpetual, and pervasive change.
