The Ride Across America (RAAM) is a 100-mile, multi-day charity bicycle ride that honors the life and legacy of Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. The Sally Ride Bike Tour began in Portland, Oregon, on June 25th with the support of The One Fund for Boston and has since grown into a national ride that has raised over $20 million for pancreatic cancer research and support. In honor of their first female astronaut, Sally Ride and her family designed a bike tour to create awareness of pancreatic cancer and raise funds to support cancer research.
