In 2021, Tom Keane won the WashingtonExec Pinnacle Award. The winners were unveiled virtually. The award is a yearly program that showcases the spirit of WashingtonExec of recognizing successful executives. It also fosters innovation for federal clients within the region. Given Keane’s experience and achievements as the corporate vice president of Azure Global, it was a matter of time before he could be recognized.
Tom Keane noted that Microsoft Azure has worked in close collaboration with the government of the U.S. to come up with an all-important cloud portfolio. The cloud portfolio will serve the national security mission. It will also empower leaders across the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civilian agencies, and the Intelligence Community (IC) to innovate securely.
