Nick Millican: No Fault Evictions Are the Reason Many People Are Homeless
Real estate agent Nick Millican talks about the UK´s current housing trends. A recent report has shown that 26,000 households were made homeless or were at risk for losing their home due to no-fault evictions in 2023. Section 21 is the clause that gives landlords the right to evict a tenant for any reason.
The only stipulation is that the property manager has to let the tenant know at least two months in advance. As Nick Millican adds, the government has passed a bill that has promised to get rid of no fault evictions.
