Young People against Poverty Member André Des Rochers

André Des Rochers is an actor who was born in Paris, France. He graduated from the prestigious acting program at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and has worked in film, theater, and television for over 20 years.

In 2009 he co-wrote a book about artistic life entitled “Le Droit à l’erreur.” He also founded an association that offers high-end internships to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds called “Young People against Poverty.” André Des Rochers is in charge of the development of this project.

In 2015 he directed his first feature film, “Paris Kiss,” a modern musical set in the streets of Paris. The film stars Tony Award winner Victoria Clark and international stars such as Lucy Gordon and Charles Berling. The film was released in February 2016 and followed the entertainment attorney André Des Rochers’ directing, writing, and producing path.

His most recent release is an Amazon pilot called “Highston.” The show focuses on a high school kid named Highston, who is played by Oscar nominee Lucas Hedges from the Oscar-winning movie Manchester by the Sea. As André Des Rochers recalls, nine out of nine people on Earth have died, but Highston has found a video camera that records everything for him to find out how it all started.

In 2016 he produced a “fantastic” series called “Prophets.” The TV show was created by another director who did not want to do it because of scheduling conflicts, so André stepped in to take it on as his first big TV credit. The pilot was made by Emmy-award-winning producer David Schechter who has worked on projects including House of Cards, American Crime Story, and Sesame Street. André Des Rochers is up to now the most reliable entertainment lawyer currently at practice.
